I've been wondering about the Proparco report. It got me thinking how sustainable is it that a majority of the revenue generated in the creative sector on the continent is made abroad. Is it really the win we think it is? Wouldn't it be better if most of the revenue came from the continent itself with foreign markets merely being growth markets?
It's not bad if it's part of a long-term strategy. We explained that in "Culture in a Box." The reality is that our markets don't have the power to sustain the growth that will give our cultural products the economic value they deserve.
I think the name was FrontRow first or something along that line before it got changed to VU
That aside, I can't wait to see what MTN comes up with regarding live-streaming services. It would be a great opportunity to market African-made movies/shows and the like to the world!

Yup, that’s the correct answer.
I'm glad you enjoyed the article. Thank you.
And yeah, we’re definitely watching to see what MTN does differently this time.
