The third edition of Communiqué IRL is coming this October.
In January 2025, Communiqué IRL was just an idea. A simple concept for a networking event for the creative economy, a place where people could come to learn and interact with new ideas. But we also wanted to make it fun. In March, that idea came to life in Lagos. Then we took it to Nairobi in August.
And now, on October 30, we will be hosting the next edition of Communiqué IRL, our flagship networking event, in Johannesburg.
For this edition, we’ll be unpacking “Cultural currency: The rise of South Africa’s creator class,” with:

Kayise Ngqula – CEO of KNN Media Pty Ltd & KNN Network
Jon Savage – CEO, Africa Podcast Network
